Off to Austin!
It’s that time of year again! Every March for the past few years, we’ve packed up our bags and headed south to attend the South by Southwest Interactive Festival. This year is no different, and we’re hoping to return just as inspired and energized as in past years.
For those of you who don’t know, SXSW Interactive is an annual conference held in Austin, Texas, where seasoned experts and up-and-comers in the technology world come together to share their ideas with conference attendees from around the world. The goal of the festival is to put our brains together to share, innovate, and come up with ways to use technology to create a better tomorrow. Some of the festival’s landmark moments include Twitter reaching a critical tipping point in 2007 and the launch of Foursquare in 2009.
This year, keynote presentations will be made by Baratunde Thurston, Amber Case, Ray Kurzweil, and Jennifer Pahlka. We’re planning on taking in sessions by a number of other thought pioneers and innovators as well, on subjects ranging from transmedia to building emotional connections with customers.
As excited as we are for the festival to start, we’re also excited to get back home and share with you all of the exciting information, insights, and inspiration that we take in. So stay tuned, more to come!
